On a rainy Friday night, we wanted a place we could get into quickly. Jane's was a complete surprise! The salsa was the first indicator that this place was special. And then the snapper tostada I ordered was off the charts delicious! Everything we ordered was so good. We've been back dozens of times and the food is consistently wonderful. We love Jane's!

I have eaten here 3 times now and the food is always fresh and delicious and a little different from traditional Mexican food, The bartender is great and makes some damn good drinks. I deducted one star only because the service was slow last night to get someone to take our order, but the place was packed and very busy, other then that I would of gave 5 stars

Festive table clothes and cheerful staff make this place a pleasant stop. A small patio gives you options for dining in or out.
High prices and so-so food keep it from being a must try.
The pibil was good but not as flavorful as I have had elsewhere. The black beans lacked flavor entirely--I would have preferred a bit of salt or onion in the cooking process.
My dining partner had the tacos and said they were forgettable and he was not satisfied if the amount of food for the price.
If you are looking for a fun atmosphere you will enjoy yourself. However, if you are craving flavorful food I would suggest LaVier Latin Fusion in San Rafael.
